We are looking for a Software Engineer who will develop business intelligence solutions that will help expand our market leading WalletShare product. WalletShare delivers monthly key sales and performance indicators - filled with in-depth analytics - that helps our financial services clients grow their financial intermediary sales and defend their assets. You will be working in an agile team environment developing/coding solutions. Role
Responsibilities:
Analyzes, designs, programs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, mobile apps or desktop applications products. Using current programming languages and technologies, leveraging BDD (Behavior Drive Development)/TDD (Test Driven Development) methodologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Adheres to Software Engineering and Information Security Controls. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Minimum
Qualifications:
Computer Science/Engineer related Bachelor's degree and 2 years of work-related experience, or 5 years equivalent work-related experience 2 years in frontend user-interface/experience Demonstrated programming experience on enterprise-level applications written in Java, , Spring, JavaScript, HTML and CSS Full lifecycle software development experience in an agile team environment/methodology Experience with SQL Experience working with GIT Effective interpersonal communication Proven ability to deliver within a small, focused, development team in a fast-moving environment Flexibility, proactive, good problem solving skills and the capability to find solutions and the ability to implement them meeting deadlines Natural curiosity and passion for continuous learning as well as the ability to learn quickly and apply new skillsPreferred
Qualifications:
Experience working with JIRA, IntelliJ IDE, Play framework. AWS Redshift experience a plus Data Platform experience desired Background in Analytics Knowledge of Kafka, Postgres DB, OLAP DB, Microservices development a plus
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
