Role Overview Is a top-level technical contributor with advanced industry knowledge and company-related expertise in networking, communications, and related hardware and software. Demonstrates a versatile skill set in a variety of technologies applicable to the company's networking and computing infrastructure. Troubleshoots and resolves the most complex network-related issues. Researches and conducts technical studies/evaluations on vendor products as well as on current and emerging technologies; recommends appropriate investments in the company's network infrastructure, related communication technologies, and equipment. Develops methodologies, technical standards, security requirements, and best business practices to maintain and enhance the company's client-facing, internet-facing, and internal network infrastructure and related communication technologies and equipment. Analyzes the most complex network-related requirements and develops high-level and complimentary detailed technical design documentation that supports an overall business solution for the client. Leads and mentors others in peer technical design reviews by providing advanced technical advice in network planning, design, engineering, and architecture. Documents or provides input into client proposals that require the most complex technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of SS&C Eze's global network. Partner with other departments to develop network systems to support the strategy of new applications or customer solutions. Tracks projects and reports status to appropriate management. Consults on complex technical issues. Mentor, coach and train other team members. Design, review, document, and present future network architectures. Implement code updates from vendors Document, maintain, and support networking hardware Coordinate with stakeholders, partners, and technical leads to implement networking solutions Work with clients directly to facilitate and support connectivity. Support end users with network requests. Required Skills:
5
years' experience of relevant networking experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Experience with designing, deploying and maintaining high available networks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Must be detail orientated JNCIP/CCNP or higher-level certification Palo Alto Firewall experience F5 GTM/LTM experience Linux experience Deep understanding and experience with BGP, OSPF, IPSec VPN's, & RSTP. EVPN, VXLAN, Multicast, MPLS experience a plus ClearPass experience a plus Juniper experience a plus Fintech experience a plus AWS experience a plus Must be able to work collaboratively with other system administrators, system engineers, and network engineers in a team environment Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve them
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
