Providing analytical support to the agency and to the director of finance, including the analysis of monthly results to provide insight on key growth drivers and trends as well as operational risk and opportunities Providing pricing analysis to support new business efforts and existing accounts Supporting the improvement of company-wide financial controls to ensure accurate, consistent and timely reporting of financial data, including the review and restructuring of the existing information flows and controls Interfacing with client services and project teams to assess project performance to ensure timely and accurate billings and revenue recognition Supporting our SOX compliance efforts by documenting key controls for the monthly closing file and preparing for SOX audits Monitoring ongoing department expenditure patterns and identifying areas for improved performance Collaborating with department managers to review utilization and expenditure patterns in support of budget objectives Administering the project management system and liaising with external consultants on system improvements Preparing balance sheet reconciliations accurately and in a timely fashion As part of the WPP Group, VMLY&R offers one of the best overall compensation packages in the business. REQUIRED SKILLS High level of analytical and quantitative skills Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills Strong system/computer skills Detail oriented Self-motivated and self-starter Ability to work with all levels of management Strong in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables Microsoft Word and PowerPoint REQUIRED EXPERIENCE BS in finance or accounting Five-plus years of financial analysis experience Related industry experience preferred.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
