Job Summary Black & Veatch has an exciting opportunity for a Green Infrastructure Production Lead. This position will be focused on green stormwater infrastructure planning and design, programmatic delivery, and integrated water resource planning. Within our national practice of integrated planning, we have seen consistent growth driven by our clients' needs to address challenges associated with development, stormwater quality and flooding, equitable investment, and maximizing existing infrastructure to support population growth and resilience. This represents a strategic business initiative for Black & Veatch, and the Green Infrastructure Production Lead position is structured to help the company grow its market share by providing world-class planning, design, and strategy services. Key Responsibilities Advise programmatic green infrastructure delivery teams with strategic planning recommendations, value engineering of proposed designs, and general review. Support hydrologic and hydraulic planning and design of stormwater and wet weather improvements, including open channels, storm and combined sewer systems, and green infrastructure. Support water supply planning that provides long-term resilient supplies and mitigates climate change, regulatory uncertainty, aging infrastructure, and population growth/demand changes. Support planning and design of green infrastructure and sustainable watershed measures, including non-structural and structural stormwater BMPs. Interface with innovative stormwater, water quality, and planning partners to leverage new technologies and approaches for the benefit of our clients. Preferred Qualifications 8
years of water resources planning and design experience Experience developing and executing green infrastructure planning and design projects Proficiency with some or all of the following software applications and models Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) ESRI ArcGIS AutoCAD HEC-RAS HEC-HMS SWMM - various platforms Subconsultant Oversight and Coordination Experience with Water Quality Assessments Experience with Sustainable Planning and Ecological Restoration Services Capable of conducting site reconnaissance and remote investigations Experience with regulatory requirements and procedures Support client-facing and business development efforts Minimum Qualifications All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following:
criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
