We are a leading cannabis manufacturer in the industry, specializing in the production of high-quality edible products.
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team to ensure our facility is in full alignment with Missouri regulations.
Job Description:
The Compliance Manager will report directly to the National Director of Compliance.
This role will be responsible for supporting the operations and sales team with all Metrc and compliance needs.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of project management with a particular focus on compliance with state regulations in the cannabis industry.
The role will also be responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, investigating Metrc discrepancies, reporting information to the compliance director, auditing etc.
Key
Responsibilities:
The compliance manager will be listed as the person responsible for inventory of the facility and must ensure the accuracy of Metrc.
Communicate all discrepancies and potential compliance violations with the director to resolve immediately.
Counting large quantities of products with extreme accuracy Schedule required emergency action trainings for new employees.
Audit monthly logs & required paperwork.
Maintain the compliance Share Point.
Must be comfortable executing actions in Metrc for discrepancy resolution.
Be willing to support the operations and sales team with miscellaneous tasks aside from production.
Meet with scheduled officials for facility needs.
Requirements:
Metrc experience is required.
Strong organization and attention to detail is crucial.
Excellent communication, collaborative and problem-solving skills.
Must be comfortable working independently with an emphasis on time management.
Understanding of inventory control and discrepancy investigation.
Possess the ability to manage multiple projects at once and be able to prioritize tasks in real time.
Able to engage teams with support and understanding while maintaining facility standards in an extremely fast paced environment.
