Compliance Specialist
Kansas City, MO Kansas City, MO Full-time Full-time $22 - $25 an hour $22 - $25 an hour We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to review, adjust, and update all aspects of DOT driver compliance.
Responsibilities Evaluate and determine eligibility of driver applicants/recruits for hire through review of driver qualification files.
Administer drug and alcohol testing program.
Perform annual and safety point review of driver's performance.
Receive and investigate motorists complaints.
Manage and administer driver safety training.
Receive accident reports and forward to initial information to claims administration.
Works to ensure compliance with Hours of Service program administration.
Schedule drug screens and physicals.
Speaks in weekly orientation class on safety/risk management topics.
Skills Experience in Safety or Risk Management Department Familiarity with transportation industry practices and professional standards Excellent communication skills Integrity and professional ethics Teamwork skills Attention to detail Strong Organizational skills Comfortable speaking in front of group audiences.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
One year experience working with DOT compliance issues preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to adapt and perform within a fast past environment Capability to make decisions in the best interest of all parties Comfortable with MS Office Suite and AS400 DOS based programs Work Remotely No Job Type:
