Market Clerk- Full Time (85th Street)
JOB FUNCTION:
Support and assist the meat market department through various tasks.
Prospective employees should be outgoing, friendly, hard-working, dependable and a team player.
Responsibilities:
o Provide outstanding customer service o Clean equipment and sanitize daily o Meat preparations o Cut meat o Record and report accurate inventory counts o Assist all customers in their shopping o Other duties as assigned BASIC
Qualifications:
o Must be at least 18 years old or oldero Must be able to work Saturdays and some evenings o Ability to work in a fast paced environment o Ability to work with others o Good interpersonal skills o Good verbal communication skills o Basic math skills are required o Previous experience is helpful but not required PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
o On feet 8 hours per day o Repetitive lifting and grasp o Reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting o Frequently lift 0-20 pounds o Occasionally lift up to 60 pounds TYPICAL EQUIPMENT USED:
o Grinders, slicers, knives, tenderizer, cooking equipment, scales o Baling machine, stock carts, manual pallet mover WORK ENVIRONMENT:
o Exposure to varying temperatures EOE Recommended Skills Communication Customer Service Friendliness Hardworking And Dedicated Interpersonal Skills Mathematics Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
