Risk and Compliance Manager

Responsible for the procurement of subcontractors' insurance and bond documentation.
Ensures responsible parties maintain proper insurance coverage, bonds and relatedrequirements.
Assists in the interpretation/resolution of insurance and bondrequirements/issues.
Review and edit a variety of contracts related to the construction industry, includingagreements for professional services, confidentiality, and subcontractor arrangements.
Assistwith managing the contract review process and manage inputs and analysis of contracttracking.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesManaging a wide-array of contract-related activitiesoNavigating complex legal challenges by applying strategic thinking and communication skillsoProcuring and maintaining subcontractor insurance and bond documentation.
oContributing to legal planning and strategy meetings.
oAssisting in the interpretation and resolution of risk-related requirements/issues.
oManaging, reviewing, and editing a variety of contracts related to the construction industry, including agreements for professional services, confidentiality, and subcontractor agreements.
oSupporting the contract review process, including the input and coordination of contract tracking.
oCoordinating with project teams, subcontractors, brokers, and carriers to resolve document deficiencies.
oMonitoring subcontractor insurance certificate insurance renewal.
oAssisting with project tracking related to Builders Risk and bonding.
oObtaining Owner or General Contractor proof of financing documentation.
oManaging the annual insurance renewal process.

This team member will work out of the Kansas City, Missouri office located in the River Market.
Local and regional travel is required for this position, including overnight stays.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
