As a Product Specialist-Blades, the incumbent is responsible for the operational, technical and commercial aspects of the Frontmatec blades, knives and saws.
Operational
Responsibilities:
Is the internal technical reference for the performance of the product(s) at the customer's site.
Knows the customer's requirements for the proper functioning and performance of what the product(s) can achieve, and the value that the product offers the customer and the rest of the value chain Knows, maintains and measures the operating costs of products at the customer's site.
Is responsible for keeping a manufacturing cost record of these products.
Works in collaboration with the after-sales service to analyze wear and consumption of spare parts and advise if anomalies occur.
Maintains and shares manufacturing and sharpening predictions.
Monitors quality audit reports of the products and participate in non-conformity resolution.
Technical
Responsibilities:
Maintains test plans and is a signatory for the FAT.
Involved in the sharpening process with suppliers as well as internally.
Participates in equipment startups that uses blades/saws, reports problems and ensures that the necessary corrective actions are applied.
Participates in the development and testing of new products Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of the field and the product (meat) Knowledge about blades and knives Knowledge of health and safety standards in slaughterhouses Knowledge of manufacturing processes in a manufacturing environment Advanced English (spoken and written) Knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, etc.
) Basic automation knowledge (mechanical, electrical, robotics, vision) Education and Experience oPossess a DEC or a bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, mechanical engineering or GPA , combined with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.
