Primary
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of client centered events.
Manage data within various planning software platforms.
Facilitate all plan action items to completion and debrief action items with lead advisor.
Construct and maintain client financial statements as needed for client review meetings.
Utilize financial planning software to run retirement scenarios and monitor client financial plans.
Run performance and asset allocation reports.
Collaborate with firm specialists on investment design.
Other projects and tasks required.
Cross-train with the operations team on scheduling, document management, and assisting with client calls.
Key Qualifications and Required Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or related field preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the financial industry Knowledge and Skills:
Accuracy, reasonable speed, and attention to detail for record keeping and working with client data.
Working knowledge of financial products, the financial industry, personal financial advisor or responsibilities, or financial planner roles is essential.
Qualifications:
FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 or 66 licenses is desired but not required.
CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designation desired.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
May perform activities requiring the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
