Summary:
Provides proactive management of complex applications in a highly integrated environment.
In addition to performing day-to-day application support responsibilities this position serves a consultative role for customers; working with end-users to design efficient workflows that make the most of available automation.
The application systems analyst is responsible for running customer facing Change Advisory Boards and for maintaining customer engagement.
This Application Analyst will serve as a member of our Cerner Core Applications team and will support Cerner applications including Charge Services, Security (prefs/privs/tasks, user account provisioning), PowerChart, Surgery, Orders, and Documentation.
Experience with Discern Rules and CCL is helpful.
The position will also be responsible for serving as a project manager for small-to-medium sized IT projects.
The Core Applications team shares on-call duties with a weekly rotating schedule.
This position does allow partial remote work after onboarding, with onsite duties for various testing, training, important meetings, and other events as needed.
Experience:
5 years working with computers and computer programs.
2 years experience in a healthcare facility or with a health care system.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
High level of skill with a PC, familiarity with Windows Operating Systems, expert in Microsoft Office programs, working understanding of general database principles and how data is stored, working understanding of general networking principles, working understanding of web based systems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
