Controller - Financial Services
An established and expanding financial services and wealth management firm in Kansas City, MO with $250mm AUM is looking for a hands-on Controller to join their team.
The controller will handle high-level accounting, managerial accounting, and oversee the financial activities of the company.
As head of the accounting department, the controller will manage and supervise all aspects of accounting from payroll to tax compliance.
Controller
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the office Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
Manage the quarterly/annual budgets and forecasts.
Manage all aspects of accounting.
Payroll and Tax Compliance Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and operations.
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Controller
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in Accounting preferred.
5-7 years of experience in accounting.
CPA preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and hands-on.
