Surgical Scrub Tech (Non-Certified)
Summary:
Under the direction of a licensed professional nurse, assist in the delivery of direct primary care to the patient experiencing elective or emergency surgical intervention.
Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.
Experience:
OR Tech, one to two years or position related experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Knowledge of aseptic technique, broad range of instrumentation and sterilization processing.
OTHER:
Basic computer skills.

BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) Preferred:
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)EDUCATION:

High School or Equivalent, Preferred:
Associates - Related Field, Bachelors - Related Field Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Asepsis Basic Life Support Certified Surgical Technologist Instrumentation Sterilization Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
