Job DescriptionThe Social Media Specialist will proactively grow and maintain FCA's social media presence and platforms.
This position sees content in all its forms; video, audio, articles and posts as tools to help tell a greater story that motivates people to action.
Their bread and butter is to use content to help audiences know, trust and engage with FCA's brand.
The Social Media Specialist works across the Marketing and Communications Department focusing on FCA's primary social channels.
The Social Media Specialist should model the FCA Values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence in serving the staff, and representing FCA both internally and externally.
MINISTERIAL DUTIESThese responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission and this position plays a vital role in our ministry.

Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Be a brand ambassador on FCA's social channels and ensure all outreach and communications is timely, relevantand on brand.
Provide daily organic content posting to multiple social channels.
Assist in creating, executing and monitoring social campaigns and paid advertising.
Develop and manage social campaigns and influencing programs.
Daily listen, respond and post across channels as an FCA brand-ambassador.
Create, edit and produce new social content per channel persona, tone and audience.
This includes copy writingand design.
Leverage existing content assets and tailor them for social channels.
Manage social media conversations (both proactive and reactive) in a timely manner to constituents' needs andrequests.
Provide weekly analytics reporting on key performing metrics on FCA's social properties and initiatives.
Create and distribute weekly social content and training for FCA staff to utilize in local social channels.
Participate in and lead the deployment of the annual brand narrative that will live out on FCA's primary socialchannels.
Create and distribute social content and training for FCA staff to utilize in local ministry marketing.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team on content calendars and timelines.
Work closely with Content Writers and Producers on content development.
COMPETENCIES Expertise in the digital and social media ecosystems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in online monitoring and measurement platforms and analytics tools.
Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to juggle shifting priorities and multiple projects.
Self-starter, able to work independently and in a team environment, prioritizing tasks.
EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
3
years minimum related experience.
Experience in digital communications and marketing campaign development, execution, monitoring andreporting.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and related programs.
Previous involvement with FCA in Huddles, Camps, etc.
desirable.
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.
