Summary:
As a Talent Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering the growth and potential of our organization's most valuable asset - our people.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the design, implementation, and coordination of various talent development programs and initiatives that align with Lockton's strategic goals and promote employee engagement, learning, and career advancement.
This role is located in Kansas City.
10% domestic travel.
What We're Looking For o Support program management and delivery including participation rosters, implementation plans and communications, and evaluation processes for Lockton's Associate development, Associate experience, and new Associate onboarding.
o Create, manage, and analyze evaluation criteria to measure training and engagement effectiveness.
o Assist in creating and updating onboarding materials to ensure a smooth and engaging orientation process for new hires.
o Coordinate orientation sessions, ensuring that new employees receive essential information about company policies, culture, and job expectations.
o Develop relationships with internal clients.
o Capture, leverage and deploy best practices of learning and development trends, Associate engagement best practices and industry standards.
o Work closely with managers to assess needs and team development opportunities.
o Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure that our talent development programs remain relevant and effective.
o Work independently and follow project management disciplines to ensure sponsorship and accountability in all efforts.
OTHER
Responsibilities:
o Process Manager:
Can consistently execute high touch programs and processes.
o Business Expert and Talent Strategist:
Knows business well and contributes to talent and engagement strategies needed to support Associate development and growth o Trusted Advisor and Advocate:
Builds trust and credibility with HR Business Partners and TD leaders.
Requirements:
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
o Bachelor's degree required in Business, Risk Management, Communications, HR, Training, or related field required o 2-5 years of experience in training, teaching, learning and development, mentoring, coaching, developing talent in any capacity preferred.
o Successful project management experience, leading project or project teams.
