Live Production Camera Operator

Broadcast Camera Operators are responsible for running cameras at the Global Prayer Room, Weekend Services at Forerunner Church and select special events.
As such, a flexible schedule is required.
No prior experience is necessary, though definitely a plus.
You will learn all aspects of camera operation including shot composition, framing and the remote control board in the context of the fast-paced environment of a live broadcast.
Opportunities to grow Camera Operator include jib operation, show direction, as well as Master Control and Color Correction training.
Requirements Teachability - Because we are expecting this to be a new skill, the ability to take in and digest new information with humility is a must.
Flexibility - Due to the nature of IHOPKC's live broadcast needs, we are very interested in people with schedule flexibility.
Technical Savvy - All of our gear is somewhat technical.
We will teach you all you need to operate the equipment successfully.
You will need the ability and willingness to learn technical skills.
Communication skills - Live Broadcast requires functioning as a team; the ability to communicate well with your director and fellow team members is essential.
Prerequisites for Employment:
Have attended an Internship or 1 year of IHOPU coursework on campus.
Recommended Skills Broadcasting Color Correction Curiosity Technical Acumen Live Broadcast Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
