Training Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY In accordance with the agency's mission, vision, values and goals the Training Coordinator helps to ensure optimal training efficiency by handling a variety of training and administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Performs agency wide training to ensure that all mandatory trainings are being executed.
Directs all phases of research, development, and delivery of training programs including development of an annual training plan and establishment of an annual training calendar.
Researches, develops, and implements training materials; writes and develops training curriculums.
Evaluates training effectiveness; recommends and/or determines revisions; implements revisions to specific training programs.
Conducts and/or oversees orientation, OJT, and in-service training and maintains training records on each.
Remains alert during working hours; attends work as scheduled and complies with attendance policies.
Provides, or assists co-trainers, in providing First Aid/CPR training to appropriate agency staff.
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual training reports as requested.
Adheres to established ethical and behavioral standards of conduct and continuing professional development.
Assist the human resource department with recruiting and onboarding.
Performs other related work as assigned Ensures employees are in compliance with certifications required by grantors.
QUALIFICATIONS Ability to communicate effectively, both through oral and written communications, in a classroom and one-on-one setting.
Ability to lead discussions and instruct participants in training classes.
Ability to assist agency staff in identifying training needs and developing a training program.
Ability to effectively plan, develop, and organize materials for use in training programs.
Working knowledge of general correctional methods and procedures.
Skill in preparing complete and accurate reports.
Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agency staff and others.
Ability to operate audio-visual aids and other equipment used for training purposes.
Strong public speaking skills and comfort with training in group settings EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; plus two years of experience in facilitation, education, and training.
Certified Red Cross CPR trainer or willing to obtain certification preferred.
NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS No candidate may be considered for employment who is, or has been for the past two (2) years under the supervision of Federal, State, County or Municipal Corrections Department nor have any pending felony or misdemeanor charges other than minor traffic charges.
All candidates for employment must meet the established minimum qualifications for employment as identified by the applicable regulatory agencies.
Driving may be required for this position.
The successful candidate must have and remain in possession of a valid current driver's license, automobile insurance, and be insurable under the agency's motor vehicle insurance policy.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
