Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City is seeking Document Imaging Technician to join our team.
This role will give you the opportunity to Maintaining a health information system for the purpose of patient care, research, planning, and evaluation for both internal and external persons.

Shift Details:
Friday- Monday 1:
00pm- 11:
00pm The Work:
Obtain medical records from the unit, assemble, scan and index batches into the proper system.
Ensure all health records are in compliance with law by ensuring complete medical records are obtained.
Assisting in the releasing of patient health information and maintaining compliance according to policy.
Scanning and indexing using Onbase application.
Performing routine chart processing activities, including searching, pulling and filing of medical records for emergent patient care for physicians, hospital requests and responding to various requests via phone, fax, correspondence.
Ensuring data integrity through verifying of paper documents in EPIC EMR.
Performing other related duties as required or assigned.
We are seeking candidates with previous document imaging experience, preference given to candidates with a HIM degree.
