ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - CLASS III - Onboarding/HUMAN RESOURCES
Qualifications:
Experience working in an educational setting preferred.
Demonstrates strong computer skills.
Proficiency in KRONOS, Business Plus (HRIS) and TalentEd software preferred.
At least two years effective and relevant work experience required.
Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma.
Detailed and organized.
Possesses excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Possesses the knowledge, skills, abilities, and physical abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
Demonstrates effective human relations and communication skills, both written and verbal communication.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate or acceptable.

To efficiently and effectively onboard new district employees and assist in the recertification process as necessary while assuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office by providing excellent customer service, assisting, and guiding internal and external customers in a pleasant manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

Performs secretarial and office management tasks Formats and types confidential and general correspondence, reports, memorandums, forms, statistical data, etc.

This includes the accurate and timely completion of I-9 forms, background checks and inquiries to the Family Care Safety Registry Communicates by telephone in a pleasant and respectful manner and handles all calls with professionalism Demonstrates strong customer service skills in assisting internal and external customers Demonstrates strong customer service in order to process onboarding in a manner that is convenient for new employees Demonstrates skill and efficiency in the operation of general office equipment Greets all internal and external customers in a pleasant and respectful manner and replies to inquiries in a timely manner Provides coverage at the front desk May require the analysis of facts and circumstances to conclude and make recommendations for solving administrative problems within the limits of standard or accepted practice May have duties and responsibilities involving knowledge and application of district policies and procedures that require independent judgment to determine the appropriate courses of action Willingness to be cross-trained and provide support to all team members and other departments as necessary Demonstrates the ability to work with the other team members to complete tasks in a timely manner Maintains files and records in an organized and secure manner Acts independently to perform many day-to-day job functions with little or no supervision Adheres to good safety practices Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position Complies with all district rules, regulations, and policies Performs other duties as required or assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The individual who holds this position is regularly required to walk, hear and speak and must have close moderate and distance vision ability.
This individual must be able to travel between district facilities.
The position requires a moderate amount of travel and physical activity.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
