Job Description:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Employer with their search for a Trader Assistant.
The Trader Assistant will support the commodity trading business unit from an administrative function.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; contract entry and application, accounts payable and receivable, freight processing and brokerage utilizing the accounting software, Agris, and inventory reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain ticket application, which includes contract execution and maintenance- Accurate processing and settlement of commodities- Managing paperwork including, accurately matching freight bills/weight certificates for further processing- Handle accounting functions related to trading business including:
-Accounts Receivable-Accounts Payable- Communicating with vendors regarding contract status updates, billing issues, and shipment issues- Entering contracts and contract management- Processing of freight payables and brokerage associated with commodities- Ensure both internal and external compliance ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
