2 Kansas City, MO Kansas City, MO Part-time Part-time $19 an hour $19 an hour Job Overview Chesley Brown International, an award-winning security management firm, is seeking a detail-oriented professional Human Resources Recruitment Assistant to help us fill vacancies within our company.
This is a role where you will use different tools and resources to find qualified candidates, track their progress with our applicant tracking system, and help with prescreening applicants' resumes.
You will work closely with our Directors and VPs to develop qualified roles and create a talent pool for each hiring manager to interview.
Our ideal applicant has at least one year of recruiting experience in a Human Resources field as well as being familiar with talent sourcing.
Skills Assist Hiring Managers to prescreening applicants resumes Interview job candidates via phone calls and email Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs Source candidates through job boards, social media networks and platforms to find qualified candidates for open positions.
Respond to internal as well as external customers and ensure that the staffing objectives are accomplished.
Serve as a bridge with work organizations, affiliations, and agencies.
Stay up to date with knowledge of HR via educational opportunities, maintain personal networks and professional publications.
Requirements Experience in developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies.
strong understanding of HR functions, methods, strategies, procedures, and policies is demonstrated.
Familiar with sourcing techniques.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Outstanding knowledge of referral programs.
Proficiency in MS office.
Exceptional record-keeping skills.
Good time management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Minimum of 1 year recruiting experience.
Prior Human Resources experience preferred but not required.
