Loews Hotels & Co has ventured into Kansas City, MO with the new Loews Kansas City Hotel.
The 800-room hotel features 60,000 square feet of meeting & function space, with a sky bridge connecting to the 800,000 square foot Kansas City Convention Center.
The hotel marks the first hotel catering to groups & meetings to open in more than 20 years in Kansas City.
Two signature restaurants, a Grab & Go bakery and a rooftop lounge will round out this all glass, 24 story hotel, which stands out on the city's skyline.

Job SpecificStocks and maintains supplies in all service areasInspects and prepares all service ware prior to useClears soiled plates, service ware etc.
from service areas and tables to dish wash area, sorts appropriatelyCleans and pre-sets tables with all service wareGreets guests and assists Server with delivery of water and beveragesRemoves unneeded place settings from occupied tablesCarries trays of food from kitchen to tableMay assist Server in presentation of meals for large parties and during periods of heavy volumeMaintains cleanliness and sanitary condition of dining room and service areasAssists in completion of post meal clean up and side work dutiesOther duties as assignedGeneralPromotes and applies teamwork skills at all timesNotifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significanceIs polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow team membersExecutes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standardsComplies with required safety regulations and proceduresAttends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessionsMaintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work areaComplies with hotel standards, policies and rulesRecycles whenever possibleRemains current with hotel information and changesComplies with hotel uniform and grooming standardsQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentAbility to walk, stand stoop, bend, lift and carry trays weighing 35
