Your primary duties will include:
Project Management:
Lead and coordinate all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and manage a diverse team of subcontractors, ensuring efficient collaboration and adherence to project timelines.
Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that work meets or exceeds specified standards and regulations.
Safety Compliance:
Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
Communication:
Foster effective communication between all project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Provide regular updates on project progress.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process, working proactively to find solutions and minimize delays.
Budget Management:
Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Schedule Management:
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
Site Inspections:
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction jobsite superintendent role.
Proven experience in overseeing large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects with a value of $15 million or higher.
Familiarity with the construction industry in the Greater Kansas City area.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
