3K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago TFA Logistics (formerly Outwest Express), an over-the-road transportation company, is seeking to hire a full-time HR Assistant for our Kansas City, MO terminal.
The HR Assistant needs 2 years of HR knowledge/experience and must be able to work independently.
Duties - Onboarding process for new hires to include completing and reviewing required documentation - Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations - Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations - Support employees by being knowledgeable with the ADP employee site - Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs - Coordinate and assist with payroll as needed Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred - 2
year of experience in an HR assistant or similar role - Knowledge of HRIS systems (preferably ADP) and proficiency in MS Office Suite - Familiarity with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Note:
