Duties:
Performing venipuncture and skin punctures efficiently and observing proper patient identification protocol.
Utilizing correct procedures for specimen collection, handling, and storage.
Maintaining an organized collection workflow, keeping all work areas well-rested, clean, and safe.
Demonstrating accurate and timely documentation of all procedures performed.
Providing clear pretest information to the patients and addressing their questions promptly.
Participating in hospital initiatives and contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Coordinating with laboratory staff to ensure timely delivery of blood specimens.
