Job Description:

The Remanufacturing Technician will be responsible for safely performing disassembly, cleaning, requalification, rework, and assembly operations on Traction Motor Combo components. This role will involve utilizing both manual and automated equipment in accordance with quality procedures. Additionally, the technician will inspect completed work on components to ensure compliance with internal inspection criteria and engineering requirements. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles, including 5S and single-piece flow, to meet required takt time. Special processes such as welding or non-destructive testing may also be necessary, requiring specific training or certification.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform work safely in compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.

  • Provide manufacturing support for the manufacture or remanufacture of UX Traction Motor Combo components.

  • Utilize manual and automated production equipment, as well as hydraulic or pneumatic tools, to complete responsibilities in accordance with in-house manufacturing and quality procedures.

  • Inspect work completed on components using fixtures, precision measuring devices, and testing protocols to ensure compliance with quality and engineering requirements.

  • Sign-off on process documentation for each work step performed.

  • Process components in compliance with internal processing requirements.

  • Perform any additional duties as required.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.

  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Knowledge of EHS procedures and policies.

  • Ability to safely use manual equipment and hand tools.

  • Working knowledge of inspection measurement equipment.

  • Understanding of all manufacturing and quality procedures associated with assigned product lines in a lean manufacturing environment.

Pay Details:
$21.50 to $22.50 per hour
