IMPACT DESCRIPTION The Commercial Site Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the execution of commercial roofing and other exterior building envelope projects and repairs.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all roofing, gutter, and siding work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all company standards and industry regulations.
You will have direct impact on project success related to both project schedule and profitability as related to the project budget.
You will provide and maintain critical project communications between all interested parties including suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and Accord Group teammates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and oversee all pre-build items including permit obtainment and code fulfillments to ensure all procedures, rules, regulations, and promulgated laws governing the project are well adhered to.
Create and execute the overall plan for a profitable build including scheduling of materials and crew, order of build and expected timeline of completion.
Ensure crews are adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations.
Daily management of crews to ensure timely completion of scope of work to assigned specifications.
Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
Maintain daily reporting of activities on the job site.
Perform Site Supervisor duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously (as needed).
Monitor job site activities daily and assist in future planning.
Preside over weekly meetings designed to coordinate the work.
Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
Monitor projects with respect to labor scheduling, deadlines, project budgets, material inventory and coordination of when materials arrive at the job site.
Conduct on-site inspections and manage construction projects and repairs from the planning stages through completion.
Demonstrate effective scheduling of all items/actions required to complete a project on time and on budget.
Conduct regular meetings with field employees.
Willing to teach and learn best practices for roofing, gutter, and siding installation.
Must be able to manage and track multiple jobs.
Weekly management and communication of the project progress on behalf of the client.
Communicating effectively in verbal and written form with team, crews, suppliers, locations managers/residents and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS ? 5 years of Foreman or Superintendent experience in commercial roofing (Preferred) ? 5
years of experience in commercial roofing ? Experience managing roofing field workers.
? Commercial Roofing experience and knowledge of most common roofing systems and products ? Familiarity and ability to use computer/mobile based project reporting software.
? Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels.
? Excellent communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS ?This person will be expected to work both in office and onsite as needed regardless of weather conditions in some cases up to 10 or 12 hour days as project load and seasonality demands ? Travel could be up to 85% dependent on project needs PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ? While performing the duties of this job, the teammate will be split between office work (15%) and actively working onsite (85% during peak project/build season) ? Teammates will be required to be on ladders and/or elevated work surfaces to look at roof, gutter and siding systems and all related components.
? The teammate may need to lift up to 50 pounds.
