Position Purpose:
The Daycare Attendant and Receptionist is an integral member of the Daycare Operations team and will complete animal care and customer service tasks that are vital to the continued success of Pawsperity and its mission.
And, after a hard day's work, this individual gets to go home knowing they are making a difference in people's lives.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Provide high quality, individualized animal care.
This includes carefully monitoring playgroups, feeding and medicating dogs as instructed, and paying diligent attention to the needs of each dog.
Follow all policies to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment for the pets in Pawsperity's care.
Support staff and volunteers working in both reception and daycare.
Must be warm and approachable to staff and volunteers.
Communicate professionally, warmly, and promptly with clients via phone call, text, Gingr message, and email regularly.
This may include sending thoughtful, well-photographed photos of dog's playtimes with well-written updates on the dog's daycare time.
This may also include informing clients of more difficult customer service situations including health and safety concerns, behavioral issues and incidents, and potential emergency and/or crises level situations when needed.
Complete cleaning checklists and building maintenance checks each day to provide a sanitary and safe facility.
This will include scooping poop immediately throughout the day, foaming yards and play equipment, regular detail cleaning, and deep-cleaning/power-washing as needed to maintain a beautiful, clean facility.
Update Gingr software, spreadsheets, and other documents as needed to maintain up-to-date animal and owner records.
Manage curveballs as they come by prioritizing wisely, asking for help when needed, and staying calm and collected throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma Experience working at an animal care facility, preferably with dogs Experience with scheduling/reception Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Ability to think and plan strategically Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience using Gingr software Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Necessary Physical/Mental Abilities:
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products Ability to move dogs of all sizes safely and securely throughout the facility and/or to and from their owner's vehicle for curbside drop-off and pick-up Ability to work independently with little or no supervision Ability to identify information needed to clarify a situation and seek that information from appropriate sources Job Type:
