Job DetailsJob DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated Corporate Finance Attorney to join our growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant company and make a significant impact while working on intricate legal matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of corporate finance matters, including mergers & acquisitions, securities law, compliance, capital markets, venture capital, private equity, and corporate governance matters.ResponsibilitiesAs a Corporate Finance Attorney, you will be expected to:
Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate finance matters. Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements and contracts. Handle mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiation, and documentation. Advise on securities law matters, including compliance with federal and state securities laws. Assist with capital market transactions and provide advice on related regulatory compliance issues. Provide legal support for venture capital and private equity transactions. Advise on corporate governance matters and assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures. Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure legal compliance across all operations. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends that could impact the company. QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:
A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. 1 to 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, with a focus on corporate finance. Barred in MO and KS. Strong knowledge of mergers & acquisitions, securities law, compliance, capital markets, venture capital, private equity, and corporate governance matters. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
