Description
Sr. Business Analyst - CRM Data Implementation (team data BA)
This specific
position
will be as the primary BA for the continuation of H&R Block's data foundation to support CRM across the enterprise.
This platform supports the creation and use of a Golden Record and a 360 degree view of the client across the enterprise.
This project will be within the context of a broader CRM Program for H&R Block which is inclusive of Team Serve (implementing a servicing foundation to support our call centers, field offices, and web/mobile) and Team Market (implementing a marketing platform to provide target messaging to our clients and prospects).
The technology leveraged for Team Data is primarily IBM's MDM Advanced Edition with a Person domain however internal solutions will be built to supplement this platform.
The effort will leverage a phased approach targeting the following scope:
Phase I - Complete (designed and built the MDM platform to support batch load of bank and tax clients and real time access for Kana)
Phase II (and beyond) - Extend the usage of the platform and build out a 360 degree view:
Onboard all systems that manage client data in the enterprise today onto the MDM platform
Migrate our existing TP MDM solution onto the new Person MDM platform
Design and implement an Interactions History DB to extend the core profile in MDM to a 360 degree view
Design and implement an approach to capture and manage client preferences across the enterprise
The team is comprised of a mix of H&R Block and consulting resources and is run using a hybrid of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge of agile and experience with SDLC methodology and the business analysis tools and processes within each
Knowledge of relational database concepts
Technical expertise in database design and data modeling
Five to seven years experience as a business analyst and/or project
manager
in an information technology environment.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
Demonstrated decision making, analytical and problem solving skills.
Effective time management and organization skills with the ability to successfully handle multiple large projects.
Strong facilitation skills.
Experience using software applications such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.
Preferred:
11. Knowledge of MDM solutions
12. Scrum/Agile experience
Knowledge of HRB architecture and data structures
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
