Integra KV is looking for an experienced Desktop Support Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in
City, MO. See

provides a blend of technical and analytical support as a member of the local level-two support team. They will be responsible for configuring and deploying hardware and software to Kansas City staff and resolving problems associated with these items. The individual serves as a liaison and informational resource through a number of support activities within the local desk-side support team.
Job Duties
oDeploy technology devices such as PC, BlackBerrys, and printers.
oWork directly with Kansas City-internal staff to troubleshoot problems with devices such as PCs, BlackBerry's, printers and etc., as well as software-related problems such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and etc. (Currently using Notes but moving to Outlook)
oAssist with the roll-out of upgrades to both hardware and software products.
oAssist with the patching of vulnerabilities found within applications.
oEnsure preparedness for District/ National IT Organization changes/
/deployments with Kansas City district management/staff.
oAssist with the standardization of level-two support throughout the Kansas City location.
oStrong technical/desktop/end user support skills, including leadership of technical support staff and the configuration / deployment of technical products including PCs, BlackBerrys, and printers.
oExtensive use of standard desktop applications, including the Microsoft Office suite, internet, email, and collaboration programs.
oExtensive use of workstation discovery / deployment tools such as SCCM and BigFix.
oMust be self-motivated and possess excellent writing, oral communication and time management skills.
oEffective interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
oBachelor's degree specializing in business, technology, or equivalent combination of education/ experience is preferred.
oOne year of desktop/ end user support experience is required; three years of support experience and/or one year of unit/staff leadership is preferred.
oITIL Foundations certification is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
