_Job Summary
_
Provides technical production support for the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Do Not Pay application through applying knowledge of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) programming processes. Performs complex application development, production support, and maintenance tasks, including implementations, testing, access management, and debugging across a broad range of business functions. Executes production workflows, schedules, and file processes. Analyzes and resolves level 2 application problems in a complex distributed environment. Installs, configures, and tests software. Analyzes requirements and participates in design reviews for software enhancements.
_Key Activities_
Provides ongoing application performance monitoring and reporting. Analyzes and resolves application problems in a complex distributed environment. Updates problem tracking system with detailed technical information.
Applies knowledge of ETL (programming processes to execute production workflows, schedules, and file processes in applicable environments.
Maintains, tracks, and coordinates the resolution of applicable access, file management, testing, and production issues.
Executes production deployment models in compliance with the Separation of Duties requirements and builds release installation packages for hand-off to deployment team. Completes appropriate change implementation validation.
Provides level 2 application support, including reporting, investigating, analyzing, and coordinating resolution of issues. Coordinates escalation of issues and incidents as needed.
Analyzes requirements and participates in design reviews for moderately to highly complex software enhancements.
Initiates and coordinates technical calls for high priority production incidents.
Installs and configures software to support business requirements.
Develops, writes, and executes scripts in support of software verification testing.
Creates and refines technical documentation, including Operating Guides for supported applications.
Participates in cross-training activities.
Performs other duties as assigned. Works under minimal supervision; moderate to complex assignments.
Supports some key platform components and builds knowledge of other platform components
Provides input in the development of best practices for efficiency and productivity enhancements.
_Requirements_
Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and/or work related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining software.
At least 3-4 years of experience supporting distributed systems required.
Aptitude to develop ETL programming skill utilizing the Informatica Power Center Application; Relevant experience with Informatica or other development tools of similar complexity required.
Experience working in a UNIX, LINUX or Windows environment.
Working knowledge of relational databases (ORACLE, DB2 or SQL Server).
Working knowledge of one or more industry standard scripting language (Unix Shell, JCL, etc.) and XML
Familiarity with data constructs and schemas.
United States citizenship or lawful permanent resident alien status with at least three or more years of United States residency from the date of legal entry to the United States is required for this position.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
