Velocity Staff, Inc. is working with our client in Overland Park, KS to find a talented Data Migration Specialist to assist with current projects on a 30-60 day contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:
1. Data profiling
2. Data validation
3. Create complex queries and stored procedures in SQL
4. Working knowledge of SQLServer
5. Creation of ETL mappings; mapping of tables, files, XML schemas, etc. from source to target
6. Communicate with customers to obtain data requirements and perform data analysis on data provided
1. STRONG source to target mapping experience
2. Strong ETL experience
3. Very strong SQL skills - 5
years experience developing complex SQL code including mathematical, aggregate, string manipulation functions, grouping, joins, sub-select, etc. SQL Server preferred but not required
4. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet formats for data analysis, organization, and loading
5. Excellent data profiling and data validation experience with a high level of attention to detail
6. Superior communication skills with the abiity to work with and communicate effectively with business users and internal stakeholders.
Ideal candidates will have experience with the following:
1. Worked with both ETL tools and ETL processes manually using SQL.
2. The candidate will be responsible for migrating data from Great Plains Dynamics to SOFTRAX. Experience with these technologies is not mandatory but nice to have
3. Candidate will be migrating existing financial data into a revenue management system.
4. Experience with Data migration from an ERP database system required
