Job Summary
This role provides application-specific subject matter expertise to financial applications, including second-level application production support and testing support. This role also leverages this in-depth technical and business knowledge to lead and contribute to application enhancements during all development lifecycle phases. Provide test and production technical support to systems to resolve simple to complex problems and monitor systems in a time critical, deadline-driven environment.
Key Activities
Responsible for assisting with projects and business process design/ redesign through a working knowledge of tools and techniques.
Provides input to technical staff, such as business analysts, project managers, developers, and testers to resolve issues during all development lifecycle phases.
Provides input to business analysts on the development and prioritization of functional and technical requirements for enhancements and future releases.
Develops current and futuristic prototypes (via prototype tools such as DreamWeaver) to assist with usability testing and planning user experience.
Performs holistic troubleshooting for escalated application issues. Isolates diagnoses, and resolves application -related user issues.
Designs and builds moderately complex database queries for ad hoc requests and for recurring reporting needs, based on stakeholder specifications.
Updates, maintains, and monitors the operation of complex automated systems and applications.
Responds to system-generated application alarms takes appropriate action to remediate.
Proactively monitors live application event logs, interprets application events, and provides recommended course of remediation.
Partners with SQA group on test script development and supports end-to-end testing as necessary.
Effectively develops test scripts and performs comprehensive testing as part of user acceptance activities for application releases.
Identifies the root cause of test failures.
Develops process flows and operational procedures.
Provides support in working with technical staff to conduct business process re-design and perform gap analysis between current and future architectures, and proposes and implements solutions.
Leverages subject matter expertise to assist in development of tutorials and training materials that can be leveraged by external users and agencies, including development of online help modules.
Requirements
Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and/or work related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
Foundational knowledge of Windows platform, Oracle databases, client-server querying methodologies, and payments applications preferred.
Typically requires three to six years of exposure to and/or experience within the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements analysis, design, construction, testing, and delivery, as well as post-production second-level application support.
Knowledge of relevant programming languages and various web and design tools, including usability, content management, and best practices.
May require frequent weekend or evening hours and being on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong multi-tasking, analytical, and communication skills (written and oral), including the ability to explain technical concepts to end-users and non-technical staff.
Demonstrated leadership skills preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects of varying size and scope effectively.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
