Job Description:
Our ideal candidate will provide technical support and services necessary for the maintenance and management of the Red Hat Linux server infrastructure in support of the Office of Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) Region 6, Heartland Financial Systems Division and the Region 7, Greater Southwest Financial systems.
Responsibilities:
Server Administration of Red Hat Linux Server 5.0 6.0
Server Administration of virtualized Red Hat Linux Servers on VMware 5.5 infrastructure
Systems Architecture and Design Engineering
System Performance and Capacity Management
Systems Configuration and Change Management
Support and Implementation of Security Management Policies
Software and Hardware Inventory Management
Data Backup and Recovery
Incident Response
User Identification and Access Management
Continuity of Operations Plan / Disaster Recovery Support
Operations Documentation and ReportingSkills Required:
Red Hat Linux 5.X - 6.X Enterprise Server Architecture, Install/Support
Dell Servers, Install/Support
Virtualized Linux servers on VMware 5.X infrastructure
