Job Summary
Plan and execute internal training, as well as create and maintain up-to-date training material and identify common operational problems to determine specific training needs for Bank employees in order to develop a high performing workforce. Lead our employee engagement initiative for potential and new employees for the Bank. Develop, coordinate and lead systematic approaches for orientation, onboarding and engagement activities for new employees up to two years of their employment for the Bank
Key Activities
o Coordinate activities related to districtwide or System wide training efforts, which include developing, delivering and evaluating training programs in a classroom or virtual environment using a variety of training methods and tools.
o Consult with customers to identify and analyze training needs; determines appropriate, feasible, and effective solutions; and recommends approaches, and deliverables.
o Perform activities related to department training efforts, which include delivering and evaluating training programs in a classroom or virtual environment using a variety of training methods and tools--manager/leadership training, diversity training, employee related training
o Plan, coordinate and conduct long and short-term projects.
o Identify common operational problems to determine specific training needs.
o Design and develop the new employee engagement and communication and supporting plans (orientation and onboarding activities)
o Coordinate and deliver all new employee orientation and ongoing onboarding activities for the Bank to ensure consistency and relevance.
o Advise key internal stakeholders on employee engagement initiatives ensuring alignment with the vision and principles and values.
o Manage all relevant intranet pages, ensuring that content is kept up to date.
o Ensure brand consistency across all collateral.
o Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Specific Characteristics
o Applies an intermediate level of Bank and training knowledge in order to develop Bank staff.
o Develops working knowledge and understanding of employee engagement programs and services for new employees--orientation, onboarding activities
o Develops depth of Bank and/or business area knowledge in order to identify the impacts of the training and employee engagement.
o Develops depth and breadth of training and employee engagement discipline and industry best practices.
o Applies knowledge to solve a range of straightforward problems independently and analyzes possible solutions and makes sound recommendations for issues outside of scope of processes.
Requirements
o Associate's degree from a technical school, college or university in a related area, such as organizational development, education, or communication; or equivalent work experience.
o Minimum of three to five years of experience in training and employee engagement activities--orientation and onboarding. Experience presenting in a virtual working environment is preferred.
o Strong analytical abilities are required to identify operational issues.
o Must be self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal, customer service, and time management attributes, including the ability to build effective relationships and positively contributes in a team environment.
o Must have the ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities.
o Certification in multiple training courses is highly desired.
o Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to draft documents and facilitate training sessions for a variety of audiences. Typically provides, presents, and/or exchanges straightforward information. When communicating, displays courtesy and sensitivity; tailors messages to audiences appropriately; and explains technical information clearly and concisely.
o Experience with advanced features of Microsoft Word and Excel and online training development software desired.
o Limited travel

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
