Assistant Property Manager

Millennia Housing Management, LTD., a successful management company located in the Midwest is looking for an experienced Assistant Property Manager for our property, Blue Valley Court, located in Kansas City, MO. We desire someone that has experience in the housing industry with preference given to those with Project Based Section 8, LIHTC, or other subsidies of multi-family low income housing experience. The Assistant Manager will also lead the property when the Manager is out of the office. This is a Full time position with an attractive starting hourly salary.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years. experience in rent determinations, resident relations, marketing and leasing of apartments, including creation of marketing materials, outreach marketing to community and the ability to lease the apartments. Strong math skills are required. This person must be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision. This position has a heavy focus on income verification/certification, paperwork and resident relations. Experience with One-Site software is a plus!

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
