The International Sales and Business Development Director leads the global expansion of the business by providing overall strategic selling and market leadership with global business partners that include licensees, distributors and retailers. The responsibilities for this position are broad and entail strategic planning, sales and financial management, and business and export-licensing capability development.

The Director will work closely with in-market export and licensing leaders who are responsible for market development in their region of the world. The incumbent will review and monitor all international customer-facing activity with strategic partners (retailers, distributors and licensees) to ensure growth in the region. The incumbent must be a strong internal influencer and collaborator and must understand diverse business cultures and be able to effectively work within them and deliver external results through partners and retailers. In addition, the Director will seek to develop untapped markets with growth potential where we do not have in-market staff present. Specifically, the business Director must facilitate growth in the mass market in export & licensing geographic regions.

If selected candidate located in Kansas City, s/he will be expected to work hybrid office/WFH schedule post Labor Day; if not in Kansas City, work location would be 100% remote.

Requirements:

Basic
Qualifications:

Bachelor degree OR 4 years minimum of professional work experience

Minimum of 10 or more years of professional business experience
Minimum of 3 or mor years in international business
Prior Export and Licensing experience

Fluent in Spanish (both verbal and written communication)

Minimum of 3 or more years - people management

Preferred
Qualifications:

Master degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics or closely related field

Minimum of 3 or more years CPG product development experience

Prior work/role experience in contract negotiations

Prior work/role in international locations such as south Asia, Australia, Continental Europe or South America
Fluent in additional languages (e.g. French, Mandarin, Dutch)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
