Services are delivered throughout the asset life cycle, from concept to construction to long-term operations, maintenance and rehabilitation.

SUMMARY

The Business Development/Marketing Intern will assist the TranSystems corporate and regional business development/marketing team in business development activities including proposals and business development / marketing information (quality project descriptions, staff resume updates, pre-qualifications, etc.). This includes developing high quality written and visual content to communicate to clients, and potential clients and employees. In addition, he/she will maintain positive relationships with other corporate teams, marketing/communications staff and multiple offices throughout the company.

This position starts approximately May/June 2021 and will end approximately September 2021 (depending on student availability). The position can be located in Kansas City, Orlando, Philadelphia, or Chicago.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing or graduated with a Bachelor s degree with a concentration or major in business administration, marketing, journalism, English, communications, graphic design, or related field
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with a focused attention to details
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the entire Adobe Creative Suite
  • Applicant must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.

  • Update project descriptions for our customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Update / draft staff resume content focusing on a compelling bio and meaningful project descriptions
  • Update / renew client pre-qualiication packages for municipalities and DOT clients throughout the country
  • Update CRM system with new Business Development information (project descriptions, resumes, etc.)
  • Open opportunities and/or update opportunities within the CRM system
  • Assist Business Development Coordinators with proposals and other needed client-focused marketing collateral
  • Draft content for other print material as needed

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
