We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a dedicated and experienced individual to assume this critical full-time position of Maintenance Tech in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The successful candidate for this position will have:
General Responsibilities; Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.
Working under close supervision, helps monitor building system operations and performance with trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities; Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
The candidate will perform assigned day-to-day repairs and preventive maintenance.
Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include plumbing systems, building equipment, roofs, drains, shop, grounds, and HVAC.
Performs daily site inspects for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures, and replacing bulbs and lamps.
Maintains grounds of facility or property; performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, or snow removal.
Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
Responds quickly to emergencies, requesting additional assistance as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience; High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience or training.
Certificates and Licenses; Valid driver's license.
Financial Knowledge; Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
Other Skills and Abilities; Uses personal computer and PDA for work order system, email, ESS, and training.
Having basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook.
Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
